With the mead dedicated to Beethoven, we pay tribute to one of the most important composers in the history of music.
The Beethoven mead is made from the best types of Slovak honey, fragrant herbs and spices.
Ludwig van Beethoven visited Dolná Krupá since 1796, where he taught the young Countess Brunsvik to play the piano.
He spent romantic moments here in the company of the younger Josephine, with whom he exchanged love letters hidden in a birch tree. Later, by the lake in the manor park, he composed the world-famous Moonlight Sonata.
