THE MARK OF QUALITY SR

During the 18th International trade fair for Gastronomy DANUBIUS GASTRO 2011 the Mark of Quality was awarded to our meads by minister of agriculture.

The product which is subject of the request for awarding the Mark of Quality has to show above standard quantitative characteristics in one attribute which improve its functionality and added value and guarantee that this product is at quantitatively higher level in comparison with similar products at the market.

Oldslavonic mead light won the prestigous Czech award Golden Salima 2010 as the only Slovak product. 8 exhibits out of 55 enroled won the Golden Salima. A new bottle design was introduced.

Two silver medals - APIMONDIA 2009 MONTPELLIER

Trnava mead won a silver medal in the category " Mead spiced or herbal "at the world exhibition APIMONDIA 2009 in French Montpellier , completing thus its collection becoming historically the most successful Slovak nectar from this point of view.

APIMED company from Dolná Krupá took its share on the overall success of the Slovak producers of mead with another silver medal which was won by  Oldslavonic mead light /from acaccia honey/ in the category "Traditional mead".

Within the 36th year of the international agricultural and food processing fair AGROKOMPLEX 2009 APIMED company was awarded the "QUALITY MARK of the SR" by the minister of land economy for the products: honey flowery, honey acaccia and honey mixed forest.
